The outspoken dancer and reality television personality weighed into online conversations surrounding flashy displays of wealth, saying Zimbabweans have long witnessed similar luxury lifestyles through Chivayo’s highly publicised giveaways.
“Well, we see all this talk about My Sol but Zimbabwe is quiet because they have this richest guy who has been buying & giving cars away to people for quite some time now and his name is Sir Wicknell,” Zodwa posted.
“My Sol is a baby in this money game!”
Her comments quickly gained traction across social media platforms, drawing reactions from both Zimbabwean and South African users fascinated by the growing obsession with wealthy public figures who openly flaunt luxury lifestyles online.
Chivayo, known for his lavish spending habits and headline-making gifts, responded in his usual humorous and unapologetic style.
“Its never always about competition my dear sister,” he wrote.
“A man with only 20 million dollars can live the same opulent life if not better and more comfortable than ELON MUSK who will be a TRILLIONAIRE soon.”
The businessman then shifted focus to what he admires most about the elusive My Sol figure.
“What i personally like about this guy though I’ve never met him is he’s UNAPOLOGETIC about his success and he likes the finer things in life.”
In a post filled with jokes and self-deprecating humour, Chivayo also referenced his struggles growing up as an overweight child.
“Besides he’s also a RICH FAT GUY and naturally I like big people,” he added.
“As we grew up we suffered through hell during school days being laughed at during CROSS COUNTRY and all other ATHLETICS always being the last ones so now TABLES HAVE TURNED its our time to shine and also be NUMBER 1.”
While little is publicly known about My Sol, the South African businessman has recently dominated online discussions because of his extravagant lifestyle and luxury purchases. His sudden rise to internet fame has led many social media users to compare him to wealthy figures across the region.
Chivayo, meanwhile, has built a reputation in Zimbabwe for splashing millions on vehicles, cash gifts and luxury items for musicians, church leaders, football personalities and socialites. His social media posts regularly trend due to the scale of the giveaways and the dramatic way they are announced.
The businessman’s wealth has also frequently become a topic of public scrutiny and fascination. His ongoing divorce-related disputes with estranged wife Sonja Madzikanda previously drew major attention after reports emerged that she was demanding a US$25 million lump sum settlement and US$45,000 monthly upkeep.
Those figures alone intensified public curiosity around Chivayo’s financial standing and lavish lifestyle.
