Paris FC Considering Signing Munetsi On Permanent Deal

French Ligue 1 side Paris FC are reportedly considering signing Zimbabwe international Marshall Munetsi after impressing during his short loan spell.

Munetsi joined Paris in January on loan from Wolverhampton and quickly made impact helping the club retain its Ligue 1 status.

The move marked a return to France where he previously played for Stade De Reims before joking Wolves in England on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

Despite making immediate impact under coach Vitor Pereira, he found himself down the pecking order when Sean Dyche took over as the new coach.

Yearning for game time, the Warriors Workhorse opted for a loan move which brought him back to France.

Meanwhile, Wolves who were recently relegated, are also considering letting Munetsi go as they want to rebuild ahead of the 2026 – 2027 English Championship season.

Paris FC are not the only suitors if Wolves let the former Orlando Pirates go. English side, Nottingham Forest, are reported to have expressed interest in the Warriors Vice Captain.

Munetsi himself recently expressed the desire to stay in France, a country he calls his second home. He spoke to the media in April:

“I feel good here alongside some players that I know. We get on well and you see that on the pitch. You can’t buy this atmosphere; it’s there, or it isn’t. I came for six months and I am focused on the six games remaining.

“We will see what discussions are had at the end of the season. There is a great project here. My family like it here in Paris. My two boys were born in France. It is also my country a bit.

Paris FC survived relegation and finisher 11th with 44 points with Munetsi contributing massively.
