Bosso came into the match under pressure, still searching for their first victory. But what followed was a tale of resilience, belief, and a second-half masterclass.

Chicken Inn struck early, taking the lead in the 8th minute and holding firm through a tight first half. Highlanders pushed, winning successive corners and probing for an equaliser, but went into the break trailing 1-0.

The turning point came immediately after halftime.

Coach Benjani Mwaruwari made bold changes, introducing Darlington Mukuli and Prince Ndlovu, a move that injected urgency and attacking intent.

The response was instant.

Mongameli Tshuma levelled matters in the 49th minute, sparking life into the Bosso faithful. From there, Highlanders took complete control.

Isaac Ngoma then put Bosso ahead in the 68th minute, finishing off a sustained period of pressure. Moments later, substitute Prince Ndlovu sealed the victory with a third goal, completing a clinical turnaround.

From 1-0 down to 3-1 up, it was a statement performance.

The result validates Mwaruwari’s earlier confidence that the team would eventually find rhythm after a difficult start to the campaign.

With momentum finally on their side, Highlanders now look poised to build on this breakthrough win, a result that could mark the true beginning of their season.

For the Bosso faithful, the wait is over.
