Zimbabwe’s entertainment and football circles have been buzzing after media personality Yahya GoodVibes officially tied the knot with Jadel Football Academy founder Walter “Ringers” Musanhu.

The union has quickly captured attention across social media platforms, with fans, football followers and entertainment personalities celebrating the marriage of two young public figures whose brands have steadily grown in influence over recent years.

Yahya GoodVibes, born Mitchel Mutongwizo, is one of Zimbabwe’s most recognisable youth media personalities.

Born in Harare on June 6, 1998, she rose to prominence through ZBC News Online’s YGT (Young, Gifted and Talented) platform before building a growing career in radio, entertainment and digital media.

She later became widely known as a Power FM presenter, brand ambassador, influencer and event host, gaining a loyal following among young Zimbabweans through her energetic on-air personality and online presence.

In recent years, Yahya has also gained visibility through collaborations with podcast personality DJ Ollah 7 and comedian Allen on skits and online productions that helped expand her digital reach.

Her impact in youth entertainment earned her the Best Co-Host award at the 2019 Changamire Awards, alongside nominations in several television and youth personality categories.

Her husband, Walter Musanhu, popularly known as “Ringers”, has built his name in football development circles through Jadel Football Academy, a youth project operating in Zimbabwe and China.

Founded in 2019, the academy combines African and European football development methods while focusing heavily on identifying and mentoring young talent from disadvantaged communities.

Musanhu, a former Zimbabwe youth defender who also played in Austria, holds UEFA grassroots coaching qualifications and has increasingly positioned himself as a football mentor and youth empowerment advocate.

His academy recently expanded into Bulawayo as part of a wider vision to fight drug abuse, racism, tribalism and child neglect through sport.

Unlike many football academies that require large fees, Musanhu has publicly spoken about supporting underprivileged players, including paying school fees for some children under the programme.

Jadel Football Academy has also gained attention for exposing young players to international opportunities through trips to countries such as Spain, Germany and China.

For many supporters online, the marriage represents more than a celebrity wedding.

It reflects the merging of two ambitious young Zimbabwean brands built around influence, youth development, mentorship and social impact.

At a time when both entertainment and sport are increasingly shaping youth culture in Zimbabwe, the union between Yahya GoodVibes and Walter “Ringers” Musanhu has become a feel-good story resonating far beyond celebrity headlines.
