Mamelodi Sundowns have booked a place in the CAF Champions League quarter-finals after a confident 2–0 win over MC Alger, coached by former Sundowns assistant Rhulani Mokwena, in Group C’s final matchday.

Brayan León opened the scoring in the 6th minute and doubled it in the 63rd, finishing a slick team move. Sundowns end the group with 9 points, second to Al-Hilal, and advance to the play-offs.
