The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) has officially released the November 2025 Advanced Level results, marking another positive milestone for the country’s education sector. The announcement was made by ZIMSEC board chairperson Professor Paul Mapfumo, confirming that candidates can access their results via the ZIMSEC online portal from 4pm this Friday.
According to ZIMSEC, the results will remain accessible for five days, giving candidates ample time to check and download their results. A total of 36 635 candidates sat for the 2025 examinations, with 36 282 writing two or more subjects.
Encouragingly, 34 740 candidates obtained Grade E or better in at least two subjects, translating to a national pass rate of 95.75%. This represents a 1.17% improvement from the 2024 pass rate of 94.58%.
The improved performance highlights steady progress in Zimbabwe’s education system and gives renewed hope to learners preparing for tertiary education and professional pathways.
