Jalai, who recently joined from Dynamos FC where he was captain, slotted seamlessly into Durban City’s backline, helping maintain defensive solidity against a resilient Polokwane City side.

The lone goal came courtesy of BOKANG MOKWENA in the 19th minute, heading home a precise SAZISO MAGAWANA delivery after Polokwane failed to clear a corner. Polokwane were reduced to ten men in the 87th minute after Puleng Tlolane was sent off, sealing Durban City’s hold on the match.
