Dynamos Edge Simba Bhora in a Tight Contest

At Wadzanayi Stadium in Shamva, Dynamos eked out a 1-0 win over Simba Bhora in a match filled with missed penalties and tense defending. Simba Bhora’s goalkeeper Thole denied Dynamos’ Jairos Kasondo from the spot in the first half, keeping the game goalless. However, Dynamos finally broke the deadlock before halftime, taking advantage of a rare defensive lapse by Simba Bhora.

Dynamos lined up with Tatenda Makoni, Christopher Nettey, Abel Gwatidzo, Hashtings Chapusha, Collin Mujuru, Tellmore Pio, Perfect Chikwende, Shadreck Nyahwa, Witness Shave, Jairos Kasondo, and Frank Agyemang. Simba Bhora’s XI included Thole, Tafa, Tsabora, Chipunza, Silla, Chaziya, Nyanhi, Tigere, Mapoka, McCartney, and Ncube.

CAPS United Return to Winning Ways

At Rufaro Stadium, CAPS United rebounded from a minor set back in the previous match with a 2-0 victory over Manica Diamonds. Kundai Kaonga opened the scoring before Allen Mukombedzi doubled the lead, scoring as a substitute, a repeat of his impact performance from earlier games.

The match also saw CAPS miss a penalty earlier, continuing a worrying trend of consecutive misses, but their resilience shone through. CAPS United’s lineup featured Magalane, Marowa, Gurunde, Chigwida, Njaliwa, Hachiro, Benyu, Kaonga, Kadamanja, Ishmael Wadi, and Benhura. Manica Diamonds, under coach Tafadzwa Mashiri, continued to search for form after a six-game winless run. Mashiri remained hopeful, emphasizing that the Gem Boys could still turn their season around despite a tough start.
