CAPS United Establish Ladies Team, Announce Trials For CAPS United Royals

CAPS United have officially announced the formation of their ladies team, CAPS United Royals, established in 2026 and immediately announced trials.

It may surprise many that one of Zimbabwe’s oldest and most decorated clubs had operated without a women’s side, until now.

“CAPS UNITED ROYALS FOOTBALL CLUB EST. 2026… This milestone marks a significant step in promoting women’s football in Zimbabwe and empowering young girls to pursue their passion for the sport.”

Trials for prospective CAPS United Royals Ladies team players will be held on March 7, 2026, at Standard Chartered Sports Club in Harare.

CAPS United Royals are expected to compete against ladies teams such as Scottland FC, Herentals FC, and Chapungu FC, marking a bold new chapter for Makepekepe in women’s football.
