Scottland FC registered a second consecutive draw this season after being held 1-1 by Ngezi Platinum FC at Rufaro Stadium on Friday afternoon in Matchday 2 of the 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.
The Platinum miners took the lead, piling pressure on the reigning champions, who had also drawn 0-0 with league debutants Hardrock last weekend.
Despite a mass exodus of players and a FIFA ban that restricted Ngezi Platinum from signing new talent, coach Kumbirai Mutiwekuziwa is building a strong team. He masterminded a 2-1 comeback win against FC Platinum at Baobab last week, proving the team remains a formidable opponent.
Ahead of the clash, Scottland FC coach Norman Mapeza urged patience as his team prepared for what promised to be a challenging assignment at Rufaro Stadium.
