Diaspora service pressure remains high
Zimbabwe’s consular offices in South Africa continue to face high demand from the diaspora community, particularly for passport processing and replacement of lost documents. Long queues and administrative backlogs have often been raised by applicants, making regular updates like this essential for orderly collection and verification.
For many Zimbabweans living and working in South Africa, timely access to passports and identity documents remains critical for work permits, travel, and legal compliance.
The consulate has urged all listed applicants to collect their documents as soon as possible and ensure they bring the correct requirements to avoid delays.
