American YouTube sensation IShowSpeed recently made waves in Zimbabwe, meeting his uncanny doppelgänger, Mudiwa B Jani, and receiving VIP treatment worthy of a celebrity or even a president.

Darren Jason Watkins Jr. (born January 21, 2005), aka IShowSpeed, is famed worldwide for his energetic streams, viral reactions, and larger-than-life personality. His trips often spotlight local cultures and landmarks, and his Harare visit was no exception.

Speed’s Zimbabwe adventure included a stop at the Mbuya Nehanda statue at the intersection of Julius Nyerere and Samora Machel Avenue. It is also near the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) the tallest building in town. Fans were stunned as police escorts, resembling a presidential motorcade, cleared the way. He toured the Trabablas Interchange, showcasing the city’s new traffic marvels.
